The first edition of the German League Cup will set sail tonight when the first round will be played, counting a total of 15 matches.
When ESL announced the changes to the German Pro Series, it was at the same time introduced that each season would feature a League Cup. Just like in football and many other sports, the format is teams from the best league (Pro Series) face off against first division teams (EAS 1. division). Each round there will be a draw to determine the matchups, meaning you will never know who you will face in the next round.
The teams will be playing best-of-one map and once you lose you are eliminated and will not have a second chance. Round one will take place tonight, where a total of 15 matches will take place, starting at 20:30CET.
Toughest matchup in round one, the match between TBH and You Dont Know Me, will be covered by ESL TV, while the rest will be available via HLTV. Round one matchups are as follows:

Round two of the German League Cup will take place March 7-13, we will post the matchups for the next round once they have been drawn.
